Not many people know that Okinawa has some of the best offshore fishing in the world. We just finished a shoot with the Discovery Channel on 20 November 2007 showing how unbelievably good the fishing really is! The program will air sometime in January. We are also members of OCVB, Okinawa Convention and Visitors Bureau. Please enjoy some of the pictures from Saltwater Fishing Okinawa...

That is only one of about 20 about the same size we caught that day. We released most of the fish for the Discovery shoot, but it was about the same...one big fish after another. The producer is coming back over for another fishing trip soon.

Awesome, sounds like he had a good time. Where do you guys fish out of, any specific area of Okinawa? Oh, and is that a Mahi Mahi?

Yes, that is a mahi mahi, and we normally fish the entire southern end of the island on the east, south and west sides up to an including the Ie Shima area.
