Japanese Visa Requirements
The required documents needed for visa application includes the following:

* Passport
* Two 45mm x 45mm passport photos taken within the previous 6 months
* Two official visa application forms that can be obtained from the embassy
* Other supporting documents that will certify the purpose of the visit

Applicants with Temporary Visitor Status may be asked to submit other documents such as a letter giving the reason for invitation, or a letter of guarantee from the person in Japan who invited them.

Japanese Visa Fees
Fees for acquiring a Japanese visa varies on the type of visa the visitor would want to obtain. For single-entry visa, the fee usually amounts to 3,000 yen, 6,000 yen for double-entry or multiple-entry visas. Transit visa costs around 700 yen.
