YOKOHAMA -- Two people died and two others were injured in a collision involving four vehicles at an intersection here, police said. At around 6:40 p.m. on Sunday, a van driven by Takashi Kosaka, 53, a company employee from Midori-ku, Yokohama, hit an oncoming car, a motorcycle, a utility pole on a sidewalk and a bicycle, local police said. Nobutaka Hatamura, 43, a company employee riding the motorcycle, and Katsuya Goto, 66, on the bicycle, died after being admitted to hospital. Kosaka suffered serious head injuries while Mitsuko Iwamoto, 59, the driver of the oncoming car, was slightly injured.
