SAKAIDE, Kagawa -- A close acquaintance of missing Sakaide grandmother Keiko Miura is being questioned about the disappearance of her and her pre-school granddaughters, police said. Police strongly suspect the man was connected with the disappearance of 58-year-old Miura and her granddaughters, 5-year-old Akane Yamashita, and her younger sister, Ayana, 3. Police see the man as their biggest lead so far in breaking the case where the three disappeared mysteriously on the morning of Nov. 16, leaving behind large traces of blood. Police continue questioning the man they suspect of involvement.
