KAGOSHIMA -- A Kagoshima man awaiting trial for theft has been slapped with a new charge for molesting a schoolgirl, police said. Junpei Ueda, 23, a part-time worker from Kagoshima, was arrested for indecently assaulting a 14-year-old schoolgirl on Feb. 10. Ueda had been arrested for breaking into a car, but police realized he resembled drawings of a suspected molester and questioned him about it. Police said he admitted to attacking the girl. Police said Ueda grabbed a schoolgirl on her way home from a shopping trip on the afternoon of Feb. 10, dragged her into a bamboo grove and felt her private parts.
