The weekly magazine Shukan Shincho has come under fire over an article on the alleged fatal beating of a sumo wrestler by publishing a photograph of a wrestler unrelated to the incident. The photograph was carried in the May 22 edition of the magazine, which went on sale on Thursday. Two of the three wrestlers that were reported to prosecutors in February over the death were wrestling at the time. However, the magazine published a photograph showing a wrestler grappling in the summer tournament who had not been reported to public prosecutors. Stable master Tokitsukaze (former maegashira wrester Tokitsuumi) said that he first learned the photograph had been published when he read the magazine. "It's rude. I'm going to discuss this with a lawyer," he said. Shukan Shincho's editorial division said it was confirming the facts. Copyright 2005-2006 THE MAINICHI NEWSPAPERS. All rights reserved.
