Two men from top ad agency Hakuhodo Inc., who were sacked after being arrested for rape, were Monday slapped with an additional charge of drugging a woman and unsuccessfully trying to sexually assault her, police said. Kiyomasa Yagai, 41, of Fujisawa, Kanagawa Prefecture, and Fumito Kamizaki, 24, of Nerima-ku, Tokyo, were charged with attempted gang rape. Both admit they attempted to rape their alleged victim, but deny the charge saying that they did not conspire to do so. Police said that on the night of Dec. 15 last year, they invited a woman in her 30s to a hotel in Tokyo's Minato-ku, luring her there by telling her they would be hosting a party for celebrities. Police say the pair slipped the woman wine laced with sleeping potion and they molested her after she fell asleep with the intent of raping her. The early charge laid on the pair stems from an almost identical incident that occurred on the same night. Copyright 2005-2006 THE MAINICHI NEWSPAPERS. All rights reserved.
