Erika Sawajiri's 100-role commercial for a mobile phone and Aiko Sato's 30th birthday wedding topped access to entertainment stories on MSN-Mainichi Interactive in the week from Sept. 21 to 27.

Sawajiri, 21, is the star of a commercial for the W53S, a mobile phone Sony Erickson made for carrier au.

During the commercial, she appears in 100 different guises, including a schoolboy, clown, a demon with horns, a woman with wolf-like hair and in a wedding dress.

"I didn't just change clothes 100 times, I played 100 different roles," said Sawajiri, who spent 10 days over two months filming the ad.

Sato, meanwhile, celebrated her 30th birthday on Sept. 26 by getting married -- to her riding instructor. Sato married Takuma Numata, 29, a horse riding instructor at a horse-riding club in Chiba Prefecture.

Sato and Numata met in June last year when the celebrity started taking horse riding lessons. Sato let the media know by fax on Wednesday that she had married.

"Since I started horse riding in June last year, he has taught me of the charms of horses and as we talked together, we really realized how important we were for each other and that led to today's events," she said in her fax.

Numata stands at 165 centimeters and is pudgy. Sato said he reminds her of spiritual counselor Hiroyuki Ehara, though the resemblance was more in terms of character than physical.
